Gorgeous Glamour Masterclass

 

A big thank you to those who attended our Gorgeous Glamour Masterclass.

Tickets sold out quickly for this one…but don’t worry if you missed out…we have some exciting new content for you in 2019…and a Christmas Shopping Evening on Tuesday 4th December in the Studio.

The evening started with some fizz and nibbles for our guests…with our gorgeous model - Kirstie - prepped I wanted to create a classic party look with a bit of a festive edge whilst still keeping it modern.

Skin

  • I prepped the skin with Charlotte Tilbury’s Holywood Flawless Filter in Light. The high gloss finish that the texture of this product gives, ensures a flawless brightening effect to the skin. 

  • I then used Revolution Fast Base Foundation Stick with the 0.8 My Flawless Powder Brush from MYKITCO.™

  • I then sculpted the cheekbones with the Hourglass Ambient Lightening Bronzer in Radiant Bronze Light using the 0.4 My Defining Contour brush which hugs the faces natural bone structure creating a seamless blend to cheekbones. 

Eyes

  • I wanted to create a glamorous eye with a bit of a grunge effect so I decided to use a burgundy/red pigment blended out with a softer brown to create a soft finish to the look. 

  • The red pigment used was Illamasqua’s Pure Pigment in shade “Berber” - blended out with MAC’s Semi Sweet Times Nine eyeshadow palette.

  • The lower lash line was lined using MAC Feline Pencil smudged out with MAC eyeshadow in “Outre” 

  • Tatti’s TL13 style lashes were used to complete the look giving the smokey eye a Gorgeous Glamour. 

Lips 

  • To finish the look I mixed two shades of lip stains - Rimmel Stay Matte Lip Colour “Urban Affair” blended with MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lip Colour in “High Drama” 

Lauren’s Top Tip

Remember to start from the outer corner of the mouth when applying the lipstick and meet the cupids bow. This will maximise the lip shape to create a full pout.
