Why MYKITCO.™…?

If you are a regular client or you have attended any of our courses, masterclasses and personal lessons, you will be aware of MYKITCO.™ If not…let me get you up to speed with this fabulous brand!!

MYKITCO.™ was established by professional makeup artist James Molloy and his partner, Alex Thompson. With a career of 18 years in the Make-Up industry, James was once the Director of Makeup Artistry for MAC Cosmetics - Asia Pacific, and now Global Makeup Ambassador for Rimmel London.

James was never fully satisfied with the choice of brushes, tools and accessories available on the market so, together with Alex - who completes the duo with his business and events background - they decided to create a brand that offers makeup artists and makeup lovers affordable, high quality, professional brushes, bags and accessories.

Why MYKITCO.™ is my favourite brand!

James’ extensive experience and knowledge of makeup artistry is reflected through the quality of these amazing brushes and cleverly designed accessories.

From the luxurious feeling brush fibres - which are perfectly shaped for their individual design (There are a number of variations on brush types each designed to do a specific job and to do it well…Each time I speak with James, he has designed another brush!!) - to the multi-function accessories, perfect for both professional and personal use – not only do the products looks and feel good, but they are also very functional, high quality materials and priced reasonably.

The passion for makeup runs through the brand….the attention to detail is impressive…maybe obsessive and I LOVE IT!!

Lauren’s MYKITCO.™ “Must Haves”

Face – 0.7 My Flawless Foundation Angled

I love how the fibres of this brush create a seamless blend with a high definition finish to the foundation.

The angled shape of the brush is perfect for highlighting and contouring with creams and liquids.

Blush / Contour - 0.4 my Defining Contour

The delicate fibres of this brush makes highlighting and contouring the face much simpler and more natural than some of the techniques we have been seeing within the past trends.

The soft blended effect that the brush creates makes products sculpt and enhance your natural bone structure creating a perfectly sculpted face.

Eye – 1.12s Pro My Tapered Crease

This brush is the perfect shape for creating a natural contour within the socket line of the eye. Perfect for creating a cut crease effect as the synthetic fibres allow you to create an evenly blended crease.

A little professional tip…. I double up the use of this brush and use it for my concealer. It’s the perfect length and texture for creating a soft airbrush effect to skin.

Lip – 3.1 My Line & Fill

This is the ultimate lip brush….I’ve never used any other like it!

The curved brush tip hugs the natural lip line providing a precise defined application. This brush was made for creating the perfect bold lip!
